Project-based learning at Hornbæk School

Hornbæk Skole in then North of Zealand has endeavored to transition to project-based learning. Teachers, in professional learning communities, are piloting this approach in 2nd, 4th and 6th grade this year.

Our Autens PBL Academy team is supporting them in the planning phases to get up to a good start. What is a good guiding question? How do you hook the students in? Which different paths can the students explore and how do you get a strong and diverse student voice in your project? And what are the most common pitfalls?

We kicked it off with a team workshop to start planning for spring projects. During the spring we will provide guidance, ideas and how-to tools from our extensive PBL toolkit.
