Samsoegades School: Vision process

December 2009

Following a talk in Aarhus at a public parents and head teachers seminar hosted by the city, Lene Jensby Lange was invited to give a similar talk at Samsøgade Skole, opening up different angles and approaches to learning spaces, and making the case for the need to transform schools. The talk was followed by a workshop where teaching staff could dive into their hopes and dreams for the future of their school. This marked the beginning of an engaging planning process for the school.

It was an exciting encounter with an old school with transformational potential – and teaching staff with quite a few ideas and a clear desire to take things forward.
