Silkeborg municipality wishes to modernize the 3,5 form entry Funder-Kragelund School, department Funder, where there is a need both to look at the buildings as well as interior design changes to support a gradual didatic transformation. While the school is undergoing modernisation, there is also a capacity challenge in the municipality that needs to be addressed.
In 2019 and 2020, Autens has facilitated co-creation and prototyping with students, staff and the leadership team as well as the school department in the municipality. The aim has been to develop a pedagogical-architectural programme – or architectural brief – which was finalized in the spring of 2020. This will be the guiding document documenting the process and informing architechts as we move on to the next phase of actual redesign of the school.
